Okay...so maybe it's not so bad....




My weekend has slightly redeemed itself with tonight's dinner. I roasted chicken leg quarters on a bed of onion and yellow pepper slices, and served it with steamed sugar snap peas and the butternut squash gratin I mentioned in the previous post.

When Dev sat down to eat, he asked what the squash stuff was called. So I told him it was a "gratin." In his ever so sweet and supportive way, he asked if "gratin" was French for "off the floor." I knew I should have spit in his food.....


I have posted a pic of my wound. I have shown it with the dressing on. Believe me, you don't want me to take the bandage off.
